New research conducted by a suburban London-based firm finds that the number of pay TV subscribers worldwide will have risen by 345 million when looking at a 15-year period concluding in 2025.
Yet, that growth picture is heavily clouded by data showing global pay TV revenues falling to a level in 2025 that’s lower than what was seen in 2010.
What’s even more disturbing is the drop in U.S. pay TV revenues forecast for 2025, compared to 2015.
