Univision details VOD offering

Univision unveiled its Video On Demand offering with more than 1,000 hours of sports, news, movies and entertainment from Univision, TeleFutura and Galavisión, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The new offering, announced during the Cable Show in New Orleans, establishes the most extensive library of Spanish-language content in the U.S.

The offering, available in January, will include access to exclusive footage from Univision’s top programs and biggest events including access to the world’s largest sporting event, FIFA World Cup; “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina,” the longest-running and most-watched awards show on Spanish-language TV honoring the best in Latin music; “Premios Juventud,” Spanish-language TV’s awards show honoring idols of Hispanic youth in the areas of film, music, sports, fashion and pop culture; and many of Univision’s lifestyle, news, sports and reality programs.
