On Tuesday evening, Urban One shifted the release of its Q4 and full-year 2019 earnings results to early Friday morning. The delay was not related to the coronavirus pandemic impacting industry after industry on a global level. Rather, the delay was done “in order to allow the company’s independent registered public accounting firm to complete their audit.”
With the results’ release, it is now known that tough comps and an accounting change made Urban One’s Q4 appear less than rosy.
That’s nothing compared to the COVID-19 fueled impact on Urban One already seen in Q1 2020.
