Another Smooth Jazz bites the dust: CBS has blown up WVMV-FM Detroit and moved it to the station’s HD-2 signal (replacing Traditional Jazz). The Detroit News says it could add CBS Radio’s CHR “Amp” format (Yes, CHR is hot these days with a bevy of hot new songs and artists). So Clear Channel’s top-rated “Channel 95.5” WKQI will now have a fight on its hands.
