‘Vault’ Move Leads To Delmarva Stick Sale

Until recently, a Class A serving the southern half of the Delmarva Peninsula from Maryland’s Eastern Shore was a simulcast partner of a Classic Rocker.

Now, the programming has shifted to a closer-to-D.C. facility as this station is being traded away to one Michael James Powell.

Powell is acquiring WXSH-FM 106.1, licensed to Pocomoke City, Md.

He’s grabbing the Class A from Voice Radio LLC of Delaware, for a purchase price of $150,000.

The entire purchase price is to be wired to County Bank, where Voice Radio has an account.

Voice Radio is led by Michael Andrade, and “The Vault” continues on WJKI-FM 103.5 in Bethany Beach, Del., and WKIK-FM 102.9 in California, Md., near the Waldorf area.

Powell has no other broadcast interests.

The legal counsel in this transaction is Jerrold Miller of Miller & Neely P.C. of Kensington, Md.
