Great news on the DTV converter box coupon front. The NTIA has completely dispensed with the coupon waiting list. And even better, households who received coupons but were unable to use them prior to expiration can now apply for up to two replacement coupons. As of last week, average daily coupon orders have slowed to just under 36K.
RBR/TVBR observation: People are getting the message and taking action. There will certainly be problems 6/12/09, but the prospects for a DTV cataclysm diminish with each passing day.
