Citadel’s Oldies WARM-AM 590 Scranton has been off the air, due to a failed transmitter, for nearly a week.
From the station’s website: “WARM-AM is currently still off the air for unexpected transmitter maintenance. We’re sorry for the inconvenience – please keep checking our website for any updates.” The Wilkes-Barre Times-Leader reports it may not be coming back. “Unless there’s a miracle they ain’t coming back. It’s a big technical problem that would cost a lot of money,” said a DJ.
