TeleFutura Continues to Produce More Nightly Wins over Telemundo versus the Same Period in the 2009/2010 Season among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.


TeleFutura Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 21, 2011 to March 27, 2011

During broadcast prime last week, TeleFutura averaged 774,000 Total Viewers 2+, 435,000 Adults 18-49 and 245,000 Adults 18-34.

TeleFutura reported audience gains versus its previous week performance (03/14/10-03/20/10) during broadcast prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm) among Total Viewers 2+ (774,000 vs. 642,000; +21%), Adults 18-49 (435,000 vs. 358,000; +22%) and Adults 18-34 (245,000 vs. 207,000; +18%).

In the current 2010/2011 Season, TeleFutura continues to generate more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm) versus the same period in the 2009/2010 Season among Adults 18-49 (64 nights vs. 49 nights) and Adults 18-34 (65 nights vs. 56 nights).

TeleFutura’s  Mon-Fri 10pm novela “India,” delivered 869,000 Total Viewers 2+, 459,000 Adults 18-49 and 222,000 Adults 18-34.  It reported single to double-digit audience increases versus its previous week average among Total Viewers 2+ (869,000 vs. 818,000; +6%), Adults 18-49 (459,000 vs. 416,000; +10%) and Adults 18-34 (222,000 vs. 204,000; +9%).
Note India only aired across 3 nights last week (3/14, 3/17/ & 3/18).

During weekend broadcast prime, TeleFutura delivered more Adult 18-49 (TF 489,000 vs. TEL 459,000; +7% Adv.) and Adult 18-34 (TF 287,000 vs. TEL 277,000; +4% Adv.) viewers than Telemundo.

On Saturday night (March 26, 2011) from 8p-11p, TeleFutura’s primetime programming that consisted of back-to-back movies with “Cine de  las Estrellas: Complot en Hong Kong (KNOCK OFF)” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sat 2: Amores Asesinos (LONELY HEARTS) ” out-performed Telemundo’s primetime line-up which included “Cine de Impacto: Babel” and “Persiguiendo Injusticias” by significant margins among Adults 18-49 (TF 443,000 vs. TEL 369,000; +20% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 272,000 vs. TEL 194,000; +40% Adv.).

Additionally, Sunday’s special airing of “Famosos en la Mira 2011” from 7pm-8pm, featuring the most talked about paparazzi moments such as Kalimba’s most controversial images, the sensuality of Ninel Conde’s curves in her most intimate moments, and the rekindled love affair between Luis Miguel and Daisy Fuentes…

Attracted 676,000 Total Viewers 2+, 396,000 Adults 18-49 and 243,000 Adults 18-34.

Experienced audience growth among all key demographics including Total Viewers 2+ (676,000 vs. 641,000; +5%), Adults 18-49 (396,000 vs. 295,000; +34%) and Adults 18-34 (243,000 vs. 188,000; +29%) compared to the 2010 edition of “Famosos en la Mira” which aired on June 6, 2010.
