For the Fourth Consecutive Week, TeleFutura Increased Its Primetime Audience among Adults 18-49.


TeleFutura Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 11, 2011 to July 17, 2011.

Last week, TeleFutura averaged 810,000 Total Viewers 2+, 483,000 Adults 18-49 and 255,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).

TeleFutura consistently increased its broadcast prime audience in the last four consecutive weeks with week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+15%) and Adults 18-49 (+19%).

TeleFutura generated strong year over year audience growth during broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+ (+46%), Adults 18-49 (+36%) and Adults 18-34 (+11%) compared to the same week from a year ago.

In the current 2010/2011 Season, TeleFutura continues to generate more nightly wins over Telemundo during broadcast prime versus the same period in the 2009/2010 Season among Adults 18-49 (80 nights vs. 69 nights).

Continued coverage of the “2011 Copa America Tournament” made TeleFutura the #2 Spanish-Language network on Monday and Wednesday night across all Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34:
Monday’s live airing of the fourteenth game of the “2011 Copa America Tournament” between Argentina and Costa Rica attracted 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 649,000 Adults 18-34, 1.2 million Adults 18-49, 829,000 Men 18-49 and 351,000 Women 18-49 and ranked as the fourth highest-rated sports telecast on the TeleFutura network in the current 2010/2011 season among both Adult 18-49 and Adult 18-34 viewers.

The back-to-back live broadcast of two soccer matches of the “2011 Copa America Tournament” on Wednesday night featuring Paraguay versus Venezuela and Brazil versus Ecuador delivered an average audience of 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 775,000, Adults 18-49 and 398,000 Adults 18-34, helping TeleFutura finish as the #2 Spanish-Language network for the entire night with strong audience advantages over Telemundo across all Viewers 2+ (+19%), Adults 18-49 (+47%) and Adults 18-34 (+27%).

For the entire week, TeleFutura’s 8pm novela, “Doña Bella” averaged 364,000 Total Viewers 2+, 97,000 Persons 12-34, 86,000 Adults 18-34 and 197,000 Adults 18-49 and increased its audience levels from the prior week (07/04/2011-07/10/2011) in the younger demographic groups of Persons 12-34 (+9%) and Adults 18-34 (+8%).

On Sunday night, TeleFutura’s two-hour broadcast of “Rush Hour 2” as the featured film for “Fiesta De Pelicula” delivered 847,000 Total Viewers 2+, 260,000 Adults 18-34, 463,000 Adults 18-49, 283,000 Men 18-49 and 180,000 Women 18-49 and generated strong audience gains compared to the previous airing (06/19/2011) across all Viewers 2+ (+15%), Adults 18-34 (+31%), Adults 18-49 (+19%), Men 18-49 (+17%) and Women 18-49 (+22%).
