Week 8: TeleFutura gains audience week-over-week

Last week, TeleFutura generated half a million Total Viewers 2+ (501,000), 272,000 Adults 18-49 and 130,000 Adults 18-34 during Broadcast Prime (Mon-Sat 8pm-11pm/Sun 7pm-11pm).


Versus its previous week performance (10/31/11-11/06/11), TeleFutura averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (501,000 vs. 492,000; +2%) during broadcast prime.

TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-language for the entire weekend, ahead of Telemundo, during broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+ ( TF 846,000 vs. TEL 838,000 ), Adults 18-49 (TF 466,000 vs. TEL 455,000) and Adults 18-34 (TF 265,000 vs. TEL 261,000).

For the third consecutive Sunday, TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-language network, out-delivering Telemundo, for the entire night (7pm-11pm).  TeleFutura’s primetime programming included back -to-back feature films “Cine de las Estrellas: Robin B. Hood” and “Cine de las Estrellas: X-Men” which delivered significantly more viewers in comparison to Telemundo’s primetime line-up, which included “Pa’Lante con Cristina” and “Cine Millonario: Happy Feet” among Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,082,000 vs. TEL 941,000; +15% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TF 602,000 vs. TEL 468,000; +29% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 373,000 vs. TEL 265,000; +41% Adv.).

For the fifth consecutive Sunday, TeleFutura averaged more viewers in the 7pm-9pm block than Telemundo’s “Pa’Lante con Cristina.” In fact, TeleFutura’s  feature film this week “Robin B. Hood” on “Cine de las Etrellas” delivered nearly 2x more Total Viewers 2+ (TF 1,414,000 vs. TEL 768,000; +84% Adv.) and 2x more Adults 18-49 (TF 792,000 vs. TEL 374,000; +112% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TF 471,000 vs. TEL 200,000; +136% Adv.) than Telemundo’s “Pa’lante con Cristina.”

“Robin B. Hood” is currently TeleFutura’s  HIGHEST ranking feature film in the 2011/2012 Season among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.   Additionally, “Robin B. Hood” on “Cine de las Estrellas” this past Sunday night was TeleFutura’s highest-rated program last week among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
