What’s Dragging Townsquare Media Stock?

One of the nation’s biggest owners of radio stations in small and mid-sized markets just can’t seem to ignite its stock on Wall Street.

Townsquare Media shares were off 5.1% on Wednesday, to $5.36, a downward move that only exacerbates lack of movement on NYSE for the company led by CEO Bill Wilson.

With today’s close, TSQ is now at its lowest closing value since March 14.

That said, Townsquare Media’s stock had been a bit stagnant since March 20, with little fluctuation after topping the $6 mark on March 18.

While TSQ is valued today at a price that beats its Jan. 2 closing price of $5.03, much of Townsquare’s strongest performance on NYSE came in Q1. Thus far, Q2 is lackluster.

Townsquare will report its Q2 earnings on May 7.
