Here’s The Winners’ List For ’18 Radio Gracies

They’re just a handful of the honorees set to be honored at the 43rd annual Gracie Awards, presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF).

The awards will be handed out at a gala event set for May 22 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, where national radio talent will be recognized.

Later, on June 27 at Cipriani on 42nd in New York, local and student winners will be acknowledged at the Gracie Awards Luncheon.

The celebrations will recognize such honorees as Shirley Strawberry of the Premiere Networks-syndicated Steve Harvey ShowJayde Donovan of Todd and Jayde in the Morning on Cumulus Media’s WPLJ-FM 95.5 in New York; Nina Hajian of the now-concluded Shoboy In The Morning from former CHR/Pop WBMP-FM 92.3 in New York; Cooper Lawrence of The Cooper Lawrence Show in morning drive on Cox Media Group CHR/Pop WBLI-FM 106.1 in Nassau-Suffolk; Westwood One/Oh I Gotta syndicated personality Whitney AllenApril Ryan of American Urban Radio Networks-syndicated On the Record; and Hoda Kotb of The Hoda Show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

“In an historic and momentous year for women, on and off the camera and in front of and behind the microphone, the Gracie Awards arrive at an important time to celebrate the storytellers who are changing the narrative and pushing boundaries in the quest toward diversity and equality,” said AWMF Chair Christine Travaglini, who recently ascended to the role of President of Katz Radio Group. “And as we enter our 43rd year, we at AWM, through the Gracies, are incredibly proud help usher in a new era by honoring and celebrating outstanding talent and content for, by and about women.”
