Sarah Costello works two jobs – that’s a 14-hour workday – but as the single mother of five children, ages 2-16, who receives no child support or help from family members, she faces major challenges every day. A co-worker sent an email to “Chio’s Christmas Wish” explaining Sarah’s situation. In it, she said, “We have never seen one person be so strong during these hard times…Sarah has been trying to do everything she can to keep her children safe, happy and healthy…She’s looking for a permanent place to try to rebuild her family once again and show her kids that even though time have been rough, there is always an upside.”
Superstar Diddy presented Sarah with the $1,000 “Chio’s Christmas Wish” check at a recent Wired 96.5 Toy Drive…and added a $10,000 check of his own for this very deserving family! Sarah’s was one of ten $1,000 wishes that will be granted by “Chio’s Christmas Wish” this holiday season. Since 1998, Chio’s “Christmas Wish” has helped needy families in the Philadelphia area who, due to financial, physical or mental difficulty, are unable to provide for themselves or their families during the holiday season.
