With Revenue Street Beat, Sinclair’s Q3 Exceeds Expectations


It’s no secret that the third quarter would present myriad earnings challenges for broadcast media companies in both the radio and television sectors. Thus, focusing on the key indicators that reflect a business’ health is already a tact being seen by companies including Beasley Media Group, the audio content purveyor and Esports entity that revealed its Q3 results on Tuesday.

For Sinclair Broadcast Group, the multi-billion loss in Q3 is, on its face, devastating. But, when one takes a closer look and gains a deeper understanding of just where its business was in the quarter, Sinclair’s picture brightens a bit — but not substantially.
