Audacy Shares Hit A New Low On the NYSE

For those who have been closely watching the share performance of Audacy Corp., the company founded as Entercom by Joseph Field, two key days stick out over the last 15 years with respect to the lowest closing price for the audio content creation and distribution company’s stock.

On November 2, 2008, with the “Great Recession” rampaging across Wall Street and the nation, “ETM” reached a new low. On April 7, 2020, with COVID-19 pandemic woes sending many media stocks downward, what is today “AUD” almost matched that 2008 dip.

With Wednesday’s Closing Bell on the NYSE, Audacy has now etched into its history books a new low, with a price lower than what was seen in those dark days of the late 2000s.
