Tim Ingram has been named Regional Group Vice President for Raycom Media, a role in which he will oversee three stations he has previously led.

In his new role, Ingram will oversee KFVS-12 in Cape Girardeau and WQWQ-LP 24 in Paducah, Ky.; WTNZ-43 in Knoxville, KAIT-8 in Jonesboro, Ark., and KYOU-15 in Ottumwa-Kirksville, Iowa.

He will keep his current role as VP/GM of WVUE-8 in New Orleans.

“From multi-platform content operations to station management, Tim has done it all. He has a comprehensive understanding of each facet of our industry and will provide strong leadership for the talented teams at these stations,” said Raycom Media President/CEO Pat LaPlatney.

In 2007, Ingram joined KAIT-8 in Jonesboro, Ark. as VP/GM. He was then promoted to VP/GM of KFVS-12 and WQWQ-LP 24.

Ingram’s career includes stops at WAVE-3 in Louisville where he directed Eclipse Award winning coverage at the Kentucky Derby, and KLTV-7 in Tyler, Texas, where he served as Director of Operations and Marketing.

“I started as a studio camera operator at KAIT over 25 years ago and have had the privilege of working across the Raycom Media footprint,” said Ingram. “I look forward to helping these four stations continue to build on their strengths and create new opportunities for our audiences and clients across all platforms.”
