What Is Radio One Planning In Richmond?


The second window for translator trades as part of the FCC’s AM revitalization effort was officially closed at precisely 6 p.m. Eastern on Oct. 31.

Who got their deals in just in time?

Alfred Liggins, among others.

What is his company, Radio One, planning to do with the translator? It’s unclear. But RBR + TVBR believes the FCC filing points to another sale — one that could see a Sports Talker lose its home.

Why? Its LMA’d FM simulcast partner is heading to noncomm Educational Media Foundation in a separate deal.
